High Expectations on the Imperfectly Joyful
The wind ruffled my hair,
Causing quite a scare.
The rain drenched my clothes,
Stirring panic by the throes.
The heat caused me to perspire,
Leaving everyone much afire.
The imperfections transcribed by virtues and by choice,
Make me rejoice,
But they seek flawlessness in me,
And I can't live to that degree.
