When life gives you lemons, make grape juice, then watch everyone wonder how you did it!

Is it too much to ask
For a little love?
A little affection?
Some sort of
Unknown satisfaction?
Some attention
To my neglected heart
The unfairly treated soul
In the driven state of mind
No time alone
For meditation
Too bad
There’s no medication
For this emotion
Of this feeling
Need
I can’t go high anymore
Just sinking lower
And lower
My soul plummets
Hopes plunged forever into darkness
It’s too much to ask
For someone so corrupted
As me.
My heart is locked
Satisfaction fills me
I stick the key
In my broken soul
Where forever it will stay
It’s over
No more
Being taken advantage of
Bitter tears
No more
Of this world
Where I am stuck
Not because of luck
Unwanted
Unappreciated
What’s the use
Of being
Who I am
When the people close to you
Can’t accept you
For who you are?
Leave you alone?
No more trust
Shall come from me
By now I should know better
Yet I don’t want the knife
I deserve my pain
So I can deal with it
While yearning
For so much
Yet so little
That never shall be gained

The storm I speak of is almost like a battle or conflict, not a physical storm!

Life sucks and is unfair. But when a melody dances in the wind, stop and enjoy the peacefulness.

Your poems are amazing. I have gone through bad times and it seems that you have to. It's nice to know that we are not alone and that others have gone through the exact same thing. Good job keep writing.
