The boy who never knew
Somewhere amongst the stars
A boy stood still in time
Without memory of the past
Or a future left to find
He stared around in fright
And in amazement as well
Witnessing the gain of rights
And how empire's fell
Not knowing were to go
Or possibly what to do
Because everyone ignored
The boy who never knew
He attempted fitting in
Bought all the latest trends
Even spoke with a grin
Just to try and make some friends
He succeeded or so he thought
For all his friends were fake
The one thing for which he fought
Was lost; how much more could he take?
Not knowing were to go
Or possibly what to do
Because everyone said no
To the boy who never knew
With no future ahead
Or any past behind
He let his cocoon shed
But still couldn't fly
So one day in awe
The boy just stopped trying
As everyone passed and saw
He clearly, was dying
Not knowing were to go
Or possibly what to do
He remained and never grew
Because he, was the boy who never knew
