An angel with perfect blonde curls appeared
Stepped in front left right left right as death neared
Said I love you and I care
Picked me up when I was down, and held my hand through the pain
Reminded me somewhere in every desert it will rain
Woke up no more pain, can finally breathe
Picked up my phone wondering if this is a dream
This is a battle, a war finally fought
No more suicidal thoughts
No more thinking of the pain, no more saying I failed
Saw the picture on my lock screen, answered the email
It was my angel, it was my hero
