Disappointed
My heart is heavy with the news
I now hold in my hand.
It tells me information
That was not part of my plan.
I thought you were so perfect;
I thought you were the one.
But now I’m disappointed
And gone is all the fun.
You were so very beautiful
The day I said goodbye,
But with the news before me
I feel that I could cry.
I’d searched so long and hard
To find someone like you.
It doesn’t matter anymore
And I’m left feeling blue.
Goodbye, oh seemingly perfect.
Goodbye, not-shining star.
I’m leaving you behind now
And without you I’ll go far.
