What I feel for a certain person,

What I once wrote was my view.

What I comes in & out of situations

without a warning or a que.

 

What plays on emotion like a playboy,

but as solid as an ice cube pick.

What feels as soft as a pillow,

but when thrown is as hard as a brick.

 

No name can contain the esential feeling,

no words no abbrieviation.

No explaining is needed for no one has an explanation.

 

What Musiqsoulchild and I agree is used by many now in vain,

What compels someone to stay with their sweetheart even in driving rain

 

What is feeling? does it border chemistry, does it border rapport?

Does it make a heart content or loud like a gunshot report?

 

The epitome of what compasion is deemed,

what infatuation is supposed to be.

The life blood in the relation spawned between you and me.

 

The lust for ones attention,

what we feel is worth dubious risk.

What compels someone to fall in love like an endless abbys.

 

It is love, the unexplained emotion of which we all go through,.

Infact, she's the very force that's driving me to you.

 

She's a feeling like no other,

constantly changing like temperature.

She's intoxicatingly sweet but in situations is quick tempered.

 

She's higher than a space shuttle,

more addictive than any drug.

For no item can match the length & potenency of the feeling of mutual love.

THESE IS GOOD AND A LITTLE DEEP WHICH IS ALSO GOOD. I LOVED IT 100% IT'S CRAZY HOW WE TRY TO FIND MEN/BOYS TO UNDERSTAND WHAT LOVE IS BUT THEY CAN'T OR DON'T AND JUST PLAY US LIKE A FOOL BUT I SEE NOW THAT THEIR ARE A FEW GOOD PEPOLE OUT THERE THAT UNDERSTANDS LIKE YOU. Thx. This poem was the first I read to my former GF, I guess it's why we were poem buddies as well as intimate souls lol

Okay, apparently, the rest of my comment is gone, so I'll just continue here... My favorite part about your personification is how you considered love a "she." It made the poem seem more personal to you, I'm sure. I also liked how the stanzas were very formulaic in the beginning, but as you went, you let your heart take a little more control. I always find it so amazing to read something straight from one's heart. Like RayynStorm said, there are quite a few spelling and grammar errors, but those could be solved pretty easily through a few more readovers of your work. Really great quality overall, I'll be looking for more from you!

Really beautiful. I feel like you really know (your view of) love, inside and out, good and bad. I think the subtle rhyming of your stanzas was my favorite part; I'm a sucker for good rhymes. In addition, your personification of love at the very end is just beautiful.

I feel like you did I really good job in the beginning of describing love and ensnaring the reader. However you had a system going (saying what love is) and then you broke it with stanzas that didn't have enough emphasize to be worth it. The stanza about what feeling is didn't feel connected o the rest of the poem, like you went off on a tangent. Otherwise this is really good, you did a great job of getting the emotion across. :)

Some of the words and phrasing in your first stanza are used wrong or just confusing. The rest of the poem uses good rhyme (lots of slant rhyme) and imagery. I think if you had used fewer metaphors and/or more emotion in the metaphors it would get across more of the feelings of love that you're describing.
