Favorite Quote:
"You love someone, you open yourself up to suffering, that's the sad truth. Maybe they'll break your heart, maybe you'll break their heart and never be able to look at yourself in the same way. Those are the risks. The thought of losing so much control over personal happiness is unbearable. That's the burden. Like wings, they have weight, we feel that weight on our backs, but they are a burden that lifts us. Burdens which allow us to fly..."

You know me
I'm that girl.
The one no one hangs out with
Who dresses in such an odd manor
You wonder why I wear that clothing

You think you are better than me
Just pass by me every day
Maybe even trip me once or twice
But I know something you don't

You want to know?
Well, you can't
Only people like me know
People who are shunned by society

But it's okay
In time, you'll learn it
The easy, or the hard way
And then you can learn

That all people are created equal
Not just men are equal to men
But women to men
Women to women
Kids to kids
No matter what they look like or who they hang with

It may seem hard to comprehend
I mean, I am just that girl
And you're actually a somebody
So what do I know

But you will learn this
No matter what
Or you will fall
And never rise up again.

And why?
Because I’ll be the one
Standing over you
Knowing how equality works

You're too stubborn though
You’ll never learn true equality
By I know that in death,
Both of us will finally be equal

And that’s where we’re going
To a land where everyone is equal
Because only then
Will I have you to myself
