cheers to the teenage years

the stagnant love of broken bands
the gentled roughness of calloused hands
oceans of dark, angsty sound
the music of the dying underground
gravestone dances and ghostly feet
murmured poems by divine freaks
paper crumbles, dust explodes alive
safety from fires outside
clefs wash red in moldy sight
raging past with murderous blight
notes slink past; an invocation
of quiet words and isolation
