Another Species


I am a poetic humanoid
My mind is on steroids
I sweat words
Cry verses
Bleed Stanzas
I am unique
While it is the answer you seek
I seek the question
I can’t just lye away restin
I must stimulate
Effective innovation
Break down walls of segregation
You are now experiencing lyrical surgery
Don’t subject yourself to perjury
This is the poetic truth
Don’t waste your youth
You must expand your creative spectrum
And get your head out of your rectum
And observe
The twist and curves
Of the world we continually destroy
We are no longer boys
We are men
Living breathing Homo sapiens
So stop drinking milk
Get some meat
Stand on your feet
And act like it
