As I go to sleep I pray
My eyes will open another day
Although I’m going through a tough time
I know peoples whos life is harder than mine
I go to school I’m not alone
Out of school I have no home
The people at the shelter come and go
It doesn’t leave our hearts but it might not show
I’d never thought I’d be back again
But you never know what lies ahead
I always put a smile on my face
And make the world a better place
But deep inside I want to cry because I’m scared
No ones there
But your there in my prayers
