For I, from a place abounding in sorrow-
Found new light
Homeless, abandoned, seeking affection
All of our yearning
Left behind by golden door
Now her enduring arm, an eternal guidepost
Holds th' constant, lustrous lamp
A welcoming freedom
A beacon immutable
