Perspective
Perfect is like crashing waves against the sea shore
On a breezy summer night.
Perfect is the way
The corner of his lips curl upwards
When he feel slightly embarrassed,
And his cheeks get rosy red.
Perfect is reading your favorite novel
And feeling the soft, feathery pages
In between your thumb and index finger.
Perfect is waking up in the morning to see the sun
Saying good morning
In the beautifully bright way that it does.
But perfect
Is not always perfect
And can always change.
Perfect is the way a stranger holds the door open for you.
How their kindness makes you feel important or cared about.
Perfect is when your favorite teacher
Extends the due date; knowing we didn’t finish the assignment.
Perfect is a strange concept.
It differs from
Person to person;
Place to place.
Perfect is a concept no one can generalize.
No one can speculate.
Perfect is perceived
By the eyes
The mind
The heart
And the body.
Perfect is when she loves herself
And every curve and every “flaw”.
Perfect is the way you walk in the door with confidence;
Ready to take on the day.
Perfect is a reflection of you.
