I gave you my love,
I gave you my heart,
I gave you everything.
So, that you would not depart.
Even if I gave you my love on a plate,
my heart as a steak,
and everything else as dessert...
You left me.
For I do not know why you did.
I’m guessing everything you said was a fib.
You made up a horrible lie,
now all I can do is wait ‘till I die.
But, no! I am not letting you put me down.
Not after you treated me like a clown.
Whatever I have to go through I will do,
so that I have no longer a memory of you.
