The Cheetah
The fastest of all,
It runs through the night,
Wanting to lead,
No fear, no fright.
Powerful and brave,
It stands up high,
Wandering in the tallest grass,
While the thickest leaves fall.
With tiny ears,
And large olive eyes,
Through the night he eats his pray,
Through the day he lies.
So courageous,
Beautiful,
Protective,
Strong.
Though he is noticed,
Recognized by all,
He’s his own hero.
His own partner.
His own friend.
