Red, White, and Blue
Ash covered a city of lights
Smoke did the same.
After several hours of sweat and fights
The fires finally tame.
Many wonderful lives were took
And remembered in our heart.
Our nation was burned and shook
Families torn apart.
One day every year is all that we get
To remember the horrific day
When America took a hit.
The headlines don’t ignore it
Yet many the people do
But we will come together
As red, white, and blue.
