Do not think less of me
Because I am cavalier
I do not know whether
By egging you on
I will enhance or impair
I will not deploy troops
I will not mete out rations
I will not nullify truces
I am deathly afraid that by one
Action I will embroil the world in conflict
And so I waffle
I ascribe to no one and nothing
I am blind to your bloodshed
Deaf to your death cries
I am only a statue of stone
