Erasable Ink
The ink leaks out of my pen,
A thick black casualty of its plastic corpse.
The stain seeps into the paper,
A grey marriage of accident.
But the ink is erasable,
A fallen victim to a swift strike.
The ink is not permanent,
And the words have no meaning.
And so continues the fatality
Of temporary purpose and erasable ink.
