Leaving
You’re ready to leave and never look back.
You feel everyone coming at you in an attack.
Running from the past
Just waiting to breathe your last.
Why do you want this?
You showed me pure bliss.
Now you think you just need me
Leaving me to think how could this be?
Do you know what you’re leaving behind?
Our hands that were once entwined,
Our lives that were so refined,
All lost in a mess that I can’t find.
How did I not see this coming?
A death storm was what it was becoming
One that will eclipse me in immense pain
Leaving me with an empty stain.
When you go don’t forget I loved you so.
