Why Learning Takes A Lifetime
Who knew days could blend together as if they were waves crashing onto the shore,
and years could pass by like shooting stars?
Life gets ahead of itself,
And leaves everything else behind,
With a pit in their stomach that's trying to warn them what lies ahead.
This warning howver is coming too late,
And I'm afraid there's no such thing as a clean slate,
So let's pick up where we left off,
And stop looking back at that car crash of a life.
Pretending is worse than deceiving,
And believing is as true as a lie,
And sometimes the only thing worse than a lie is the truth.
These tips just keep me thinking,
There's no wonder months feel like days,
And why learning takes a lifetime.
