Thy Glorious Song
Thy fingers strike thy keys
Like mine on typewriter,
Lovingly, knowingly, done
With intent at glory and brilliance.
As lotus intoxicates those who
Consume its flower thy music
Entrances all within reach, my
Ears hath not heard such beauty.
Then like winged-words from
Above thy voice begins to sing,
So stunning it makes my heart
Pound louder than a snare so
Strong it threatens to beat out
Of my chest, longing to hear
More, alas uncertain it could
Not contain more delight
Still thy song persists, it
Lightens the darkness and
Captivates me ever more,
Enthralled like a child to
Snowfall; anticipation, desire,
Excitement all merged into one.
