I woke this morning to the sunlight fighting its way through the crack left in the shade.
I jumped up and stared out the window because it was beautiful.
And you were beautiful, and I couldn't take my eyes off of you.
I saw your face first, amongst the soft gentle clouds in the sky.
And then your body when I noticed the strong , tall tree trunks.
The leaves that flew and waved were your hair.
And the wind that stirred them was your whisper.
When I forgot what had caught my eye, you left.
And what had just overcome me with the most subtle excitement, brought
a rush of depression.
But then I realized, you woke me up this morning.
I couldn't be sad for the rest of the day.
