Do you remember what happened
When the twin towers fell?
Do you remember what you felt,
What you did,
Or where you were?
Did you cry,
Did you pray?
Did you look for your kids,
Your mom, or your dad?
Did you make sure they were safe?
I remember my heart beating.
What is going on?
Could this really be happening?
Why?
I remember praying,
Waiting
For my mom to pick me up from school.
I remember what happened
When the Twin Towers fell,
And life was never the same.
