Touch
I sit here on the floor, mascara runnning down my face.
A sound comes from the door, this seems like a never ending race.
He looks at me with a smile, my face all cold and wet.
I will never know his name, but his face I wont forget.
He grabs me by the hand and tells me it's alright,
and that I need to take abreak from this never ending fight.
From his lips I see him whisper, wipe the tears away,
you'll find the one who loves you, but unfortunately not today.
Eventually you'll find him, it'll be worth this fight.
But, I don't know what to say because with him this feels so right.
He slowly turns around and begins to walk away,
a tear falls from my cheek and my smile fades away
