I want you to know you'll
always have a place
in my regenerated heart, aside
old skins where
spiders have made their nests
in the dark, preying on prayers
and pieces of crumpled paper
You can make a
residence over the
canopy
that insects clamber to penetrate
and earthworms stare at
from underneath
the fall foliage.
