Memories
Memories.
They stream into our heads at the oddest moments, making connections between past and present.
Memories.
Memories of good and memories of bad, all are equal in our head even though we try to suppress some and let others have free reign.
Memories.
Sadness. Happiness. Rage. Joy. All are expressed in our subconscious, dictating the way we remember certain things.
Memories.
They bring us back to things as they were.
They are something we should be grateful for.
With each thing we remember, we learn.
We learn from past fights to use our voice, not our fist.
We learn from past wars that violence is not the answer.
We learn from sad memories how to be happy.
Memories let us remember not to forget.
But in the end, is forgetting all that bad?
