Metaphoric Family
My family is a S’more, full of warmth and sweet.
My daddy is the big marshmallow,
That you just want to squeeze.
My brother is the chocolate,
Whose always by the marshmallows’ side.
My mother is the graham cracker,
Who holds it all together, and full of pride.
My dogs are the peanut butter,
That makes this wonderful treat unique.
And I am the fire,
That heats everything up
and at times I make things a bit messy
I can be so abrupt.
All these pieces make up a S’More,
With all the imperfections, you’ll be asking for more.
