But Yet he Plays on
To the tune of a perfectly-pitched piano
A man sits with his violin
Matching the sounds
To create a perfect symphony
Of only one instrument
Vibrantly, he strums
Playing his life’s work of song
For those around
Who are non-equipped to hear his melody
And yet he plays on
Not does he care for passersby to listen
And not does he care for the absence of company
But yet he plays on
Envisioning his audience
Blind to their non-existence
Yet he finds comfort in his solitude
But yet he plays on
