Favorite Quote:
It can't rain all the time.

I thought I knew you,
I guess I was wrong.
But everytime you hurt me,
I come back twice as strong.

You love me, you hate me
You just can't turn away.
I don't want you in my life,
Unless you're here to stay.

I don't want you,
Not that you even care.
Because whenever I need you,
You're anywhere but here.

You maybe happy right now
But I promise it won't last.
You'll never find another me,
You'll learn that very fast.

Sometimes I just can't stand
A single thing you do.
Others I just wish you'd say,
All I want is you.

If these are my true feelings,
How will I ever move one?
And with every passing moment,
I wish them to be gone.

I thought I knew you,
And that you knew me.
But I'm starting to realise,
You only know what I let you see.

I disagree with Coopercut, a poem isn't about where it was written or how many people have thought or felt a similar way. Poetry is about an individuals way of expressing how THEY feel. And the depth of a poem couldn't possibly be interpreted by anyone other than the poet. Depth is relative and in order to acurately judge it, you need to know exactly what feelings and thoughts lead to the poem. Why are people so closed minded??

I do not like this poem at all.

It's what everyone already thinks, its that stupid feeling, and its not deep enough. It doesn't do anything for me. It sounds like one of those poems you think of in your head in the middle of biology class trying to piece it together. They don't ever work out, and neither does this.

This was an amazing piece. It's very powerful--because I think it's something everyone wants to be able to say, but can't seem to get it out. Excellent!
