Wildfire
Ashes to Ashes and Dust to Dust,
Flames tore down the trees.
The grass was eaten by flaming creatures,
And homes invaded by fire.
Screams ran from so many mouths,
So many lives were lost.
Many lives have suffered from this,
For their homes remain as soot.
The homes of animals,
Now written in ash,
Many people’s homes in
The graveyard of ruins.
No one will forget this fiery day,
For people have suffered and lost their lives,
But one thing that everyone’s forgot:
The people lost in this fire.
