Mysterious Cowboy
The mysterious cowboy rides off in the sunset
And cracks his whip at dawn
All of the cowboys through out the Wild West give him respect
Because he never takes time to sleep or even yawn
He herds cattle in the morning
with a handkerchief covering his face
To protect him from the wind that’s roaring
The mysterious cowboy is so great
When he walks into the saloon
A hush falls over the crowd
He stays there all afternoon
Until he hears the coyote howl
Don’t worry he’ll be back soon
The mysterious cowboy is so great
Even though nobody has seen his face
He stares evil and death in the eye
If he ever leaves everyone will cry
One day I didn’t hear the crack at dawn
Could the cowboy possibly be gone
I saw a figure heading out towards the sun
The mysterious cowboy’s work here had been done
