Halloween
Halloween
That time of the year where October will end,
Halloween is around the bend.
From house to house the children will go,
They run and run, they don’t go slow.
Running and grasping their pillow cases
They fill them up high, but at steady paces.
Trick or treat is what they say,
Then comes the candy, which is their pay.
When they get home, they dump it all out
Needless to say, it’s a large amount.
All kinds of goodies, candy, munchies, and treats!
After they eat it they trudge on their feet.
To bed they go with a stomach pain
All they do the next day is complain.
