The Memory of Persistence

Time melts away.
So slowly
the clocks
begin to bend
black terror reigns
over the only
unaltered piece
of memory left
The persistence
of the hands
on the face
tell of a time
when blue
was still seen
and before red
bared white.

You did a splendid job putting in your thoughts of Salvador Dali's masterpiece into a different perspective of your imagination. Nicely done.
