Patience and injury
Heartache and misery
Little comfort to suffering
The battlefield is brutal
Love is a war
I struggle for your true surrender
Don't heighten a devious white flag
Don't seduce me into a fictitious tent
I strive for a flag raised with faithfulness
Love is a war
The effort wont end once submissiveness is shown
I request you reserve your prominent loyalty for me
And I will undisguised mine to you
Prove your white flag is genuine
