He Said, She Said
He said "Black"
She said "White"
"you're just saying that out of spite"
he said "Rain"
She said "Sun,
Oh my gosh, babe,
you are no fun."
He said "Salty"
She said "Sweet"
"Whatever, honey,
I just want to eat."
He said "Horror"
She said "Chick flick,
Sometimes you just
Make me sick."
He said "Run"
She said "Walk,
Sweetie, I just
Want to talk."
He said "Circle"
She said "Square"
"Baby, I think you're
not being fair."
He said "This"
She said "That"
I guess opposites
Do attract.
He said "I do"
She said it too.
For once they agreed.
Those times would be few.
He said "Three kids"
She said "Just one"
"Fine, for you,
We'll just have none."
He said "I have to go"
She said "Stay,
I can't live without you,
Don't go away."
Those disagreeing days,
Were almost done,
She said "What kind of flowers?"
He said "None."
