Sea of Serenity
This silence is something I wish would last
I want time to freeze, but it ticks by so fast
Just to relax, lay down, and chill out
A moment without worry, a moment without doubt
Not to stress out or cry or bawl
But to escape from the world and from anything at all
I welcome this silence with open arms
It lets me heal and does me no harm
Allowing me to just sit and listen
Think of what’s been going on and what I’ve been missin’
This silence is soothing and somehow it clams me
It’s my uncharted island in my sea of serenity
