My homework is missing,
I can't find it- it's gone.
My dog probably ate it,
He threw up on Mom.
It may have been stolen
By a mysterious thief,
Lurking in our class,
It causes me such grief!
Alright, fine teacher,
Maybe you're right.
Maybe I just didn't do it last night.
