Asking For Too Much?
Look!
Just look at him!
He sits on the streets
With his hands to his face.
He's just begging for help
That our cold hearts won't give.
Think!
Just think of them please!
He's trying to make it.
He's wants for his family
What he didn't have.
He's just asking for a chance
That our cold hearts won't give.
Feel!
Just feel for him please!
As he sits on the steps,
His hands to his face.
Watch the tears
That flow through his fingers
As he tries.
He tries
To change,
To better himself,
To make his family
Know him as that one
That person,
Whom they can look upto
To do this he needs a chance,
A start,
And just a little help.
But that's to much to ask, isn't it?
Because he's asking for something
That our cold hearts won't give him.
