Ode to Summer

Summer, everyone awaits you.
The warm weather you bring.
The sunshine to tan our pale skin.
The beach will be our new home.
The water cools my body
after basking in the heat.
The sand is white and is soft
Sifting though my fingers and toes.
Bathing suits and flip flops
are the only thing my wardrobe consists of.
With a cold drink in my hand
I am in complete paradise.
