Weakness
I collapse to my knees;
un-sure of what this world has for me to see.
Destined to figure out,
what exactly that may be.
Time can only tell which direction
I shall go. Until then,
I face the facts of the unknown.
Scared of what will happen next,
I'm ready to take the steps,
of this undeclared test.
Corruption and chaos,
undesired by most,
so I cling on to what I call hope.
I look into the mirror,
and see the woman in front of me.
I ask myself, "What do you want to be?"
The words linger in the air,
leaving the question,
"Does anyone care?"
Unanswered questions are always the result,
I cannot fathom why this isn't my fault.
Weakness is apart of me that sings,
a fear that is glued atop my butterfly wings.
Unable to move,
paralyzed by pain
I often wonder if i'm going insane.
Time can only tell,
which direction I shall go.
But until then..
I face the facts of the unknown.
