In the Dark
I couldn't tell you that I'm certain about who I am
I could give you hints and secrets in the wall
I could tell you where I want to be and where I stand
But I can't guaruntee that I'll catch white pearls when I fall
If you see a flash of silver, I won't let you know it was me
Just let them all be seen, the wildest if seas
I could be all she is for you and more
It would be nice to know my heart could be broken
At least I'd know I have one and show you a black shore
Even though I'm disfigured and stitched with sin
God, make me think how you need me too, not how I want
Show me how to accept my story and let it be
Alone, my closest friend and the worst haunt
The fallen angel is trying to make me see
I am the twisted body in the corner of a blue room
I am the girl with a lost heart
I am the child of a wolf and the moon
But, most of all I am the monster in the dark
