I dreamt of a Stonehenge,
Eons past,
Whose wearied rock
Can time outlast

Mystery surrounds
Its pillars like mist,
The wind’s firstborn
Stone Edifice

Water cascaded
In a circle vast
Against stone silent
Who's diamonds hit last?

Trickling into the
Deep, dark abyss
Like secrets sought
In this land forgot
Awakened I learned
And since then I have yearned


The author's comments:
In the tumultuous times Writer's Block has me going through, I know I can always rely on my subconscious to dream up beautiful scenes and stories for me. Here's my rendition of something I saw in the sleeping world, but the English language can only take me so far....
