Darkness
The world is filled with light,
Nothing bad could happen here.
Happiness chases away all fright,
And people here can cheer.
This was my childhood,
Not to long ago.
Until I left my fancied wood,
And all so dear said no.
The world now seems so cold and dark,
No warmth can be found here.
It made the light flit away like a lark,
Until it was not seen anywhere.
I feel so lost, so dark and cold,
Everything here seems morbid.
The sights are all covered in mold,
Nothing shines as it once did.
I am all alone here,
And no one is left at home.
No longer does music reach my ear,
No song is heard where I roam.
