Honey, Baby

The glossy golden hue,
and the soft sweet scent,
that’s what makes you my honey.
Ooey and gooey,
drippy and sticky
adding the sugary flavor to my life.
The moment my lips meet your savory fill,
my head begins to buzz.
To compare you to others
wouldn’t even be fair.
Your all natural potions,
are my weakness.
You make me want to sing,
but my mouth...
is full.
