Kind Society
I am a bird,caged
the bars kind society
These constrictions pull and pluck,
pieces of my soul.
Floating down my feathers go,
To be stolen by the wind,
Soon there will be nothing left,
and they will let me out.
But I’ll have forgotten how to fly,
and will no longer look up,
but sit on their finger,
and only learn the words they want.
