Final Game
I could feel the sweat,
Drip down my face.
I take a deep breath
And quickly turn my head,
Left to right
Glancing at my teammates
Seeing them
Forcing a smile
Onto their faces
Even though you can tell
They are worried,
Take one last deep breath
And threw the ball.
As the ball was slipping out of my hand,
I could feel the knots
On the ball rub against my fingertips.
I could feel the sweat
Drip down my face
A small second of silence
And then a loud roar of cheers
Started to ring in my ears.
