This is more than writer’s block
I can’t absorb the chilling shock
The heed the tree will bear no fruit
The bitter taste of failed pursuit
But all of this is just a dream
Paranoia, does it seem
To seep inside our inner selves
And waste away on dusty shelves
Omnipresent is the fear
Of tomorrow drawing near
Wasting time, used all too well,
Over past, present and future dwell
Pledge to here and swear to now
The only truths to which we vow
Are dreams, hope, loss and love
Determined by the stars above
But doubts should not be my concerns
Mind: Don’t block the heart that yearns
