Hands
And so it starts
That itching in time
That become this uncontrollable flood
That sends the pangs into our hearts
We'll stumble, and feel their hand slip away
Down and away, as we try to save them in vain
But as fast as they appeared, they're gone
Into time's decay
Your hands had been locked together, fingers interlaced
But almost as quickly as it had happened, their fingers were nothing more than space
You fall to the floor
Wondering why they had left this way, cracked through to the core
And you remember when their hand slipped away
They will forget
But why be upset?
They will forgotten when you meet them again some day
