Opposites Attract
You’re such a sweet boy
and I’m such a bad girl
It’s funny, truly y’know, the oddities of this world
how I could get so lucky, and have you think you are too
Yet your face is so sweet
your eyes a nice blue
though I’ve never asked what lies behind those cerulean gems
what lies behind my own, I’m sure, is far more grim.
You’re such a sweet boy
and I’m such a bad girl
it’s funny, no really, seriously, the strange things in this world
How you so write such kind words to me
and I write back the same, but
deep inside I know that we
are different in many ways
Don’t worry about faithfulness, I will always stay, its just
you’re such a sweet boy
and, I’m such a bad girl
its funny you know, a humor really, the cruelty of this world
to blind you of the ways of I who, is not as evil as they come but
I mock the roaring skies and, I dance upon the sun
You watch it so quietly, with the breeze you run
you are a wondrous harmony and, I’m an alarming gun
You’re such a sweet boy and,
I’m such a bad girl!
Really, I do appreciate this thing, one of the oddities of the world.
