Some paper, blank; in my hand, a crayon;
WhatcouldshouldI what to do?
Everything is empty, bare
Everything is hard and new

I drag the tip of the crayon around
Scribblescribble hope and pray
And draw a map as best I can
So maybe I can find my way

But not that route, I won't go there
THIS path suits me, yup, just fine
And before I blink, I'm running out of
Options, luck, and precious time

If I could walk two roads at once
Maybe I won't make mistakes
But while failure boils you alive
Perfection pushes 'til you break

If I could throw this paper away
And use my crayon to draw elsewhere
Maybe I wouldn't need a map
To show me how to get there...

How do you make origami?

So true. Lol, origami! I really like the last two stanzas; they're very philosophical. I'm reminded of Frost's "The Road Not Taken." :)
