Who says I need a puff of weed to succeed.

Who says I need to take a hit to fit.

Who says I’m not my own person.

Who says I can’t think for myself.

There are better ways than to live my life in a haze.

Who says I have to live in a prison cell of fear.

Unable to go anywhere near,

The friends who no longer think clear.

Who says I need a of weed to succeed.

Who says I need to take I hit to fit.

We are teens;

Some want to be cool by any means ;

But who says we need to get high to get by.

Don’t get me wrong, I love to have fun.

But include drugs and I’m done.

Why do us kids feel we need pot in order for satisfaction?

It’s because

They feel they need a puff of weed to succeed

And they need to take a hit to fit.

But wouldn’t you think,

That somewhere in your brain.

It would tell you this is wrong ,

As your holding your bong.

Don’t you think common sense

Would save you from this mess?

But who am I to control you.

Who says that I own you.

They say it’s just a phase.

Do you know this phase,

Will follow you for the rest of your days.
